I purchased a Casio Oceanus OCW-T400TD-1A in Taiwan at the end of May, 2010.
Immediately after arriving home in San Diego, the watch stopped working.
Below is a summary of the problems:
1. The hands of the watch would stop frequently for no reason (even with power saving turned off).
2. The hands of the watch move but slow.
3. The hands of the watch would move after stopping for a long time, but tough-movement sometimes cannot correct the incorrect minute-hand position. Hour-hand is always wrong after stoppage.
The main motor driving the hour and minute hands is definitely defective. The slow/stops have been observed in various environments other than my place, such as during business trips in China, at office, on the airplane ...
The Casio Taiwan, and the watch store "Formosa Watch" did not want to provide me with a refund or replacement. Although they said they can see if it can be fixed, but they were unwilling to send the "repaired watch" back to me even if I send it to them.
Please help!
